The Delta T Systems “VS Chiller” with the variable speed compressor operates effectively between 10% and 100% of its rated capacity. This means a 10 ton chiller can operate very efficiently as a 1 ton as well as up to a 10 ton chiller. This new design applies proven, variable speed “green” compressor technology from the HVAC industry to produce up to a stunning 50% energy savings over traditional hot gas bypass regulation.
An Air Cooled Chiller System is designed to use ambient air surrounding the condensing unit to cool a refrigerant back into a liquid once it has absorbed heat from the process. Portable, air cooled style chillers refer to a configuration that contains a refrigeration circuit, a reservoir and pump, along with controls.
The purpose of water cooled chillers is to remove heat from a process and transfer it to a separate cooling entity such as a cooling tower. For large capacity industrial applications in which heat generated by air cooled chillers creates a problem, water cooled chillers are generally used in conjunction with a cooling tower.
Mineral deposits buildup in the heat transfer circuit can degrade heat transfer and reduce system efficiency, so water cooled chillers typically require condenser water treatment to eliminate any buildup.

Fully configurable, compact and easy to use, these new combo units include industry proven controls that can log data, predict future issues and provide the necessary control to allow continued operation at a lower, controlled speed before a mandatory maintenance shutdown is required.
Our Water Circulating Temperature Control Units (TCU) are engineered for great accuracy, and will perform to spec in numerous industrial processes with temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). Each water temperature control unit is equipped with microprocessor-based PID temperature controls that deliver accurate, reliable and cost effective process temperature accuracy.
Stainless steel is used for key components to insure long and maintenance free performance and to reduce total cost of ownership for some Delta T water temperature control units. Pumps are available from ¾ to 7-1/2 HP with a delivery capacity of 25 to 100 GPM to provide a broad range of heat transfer capability and temperature control in a compact footprint.
